This is an outcomes-based assessor development programme recognised by the HRDC and is designed to equip the assessor with additional skills to develop assessment materials using the standards-based assessment approach.  Candidates need to attain the assessor standard before enrolling on this course.  The course is based on the following unit standard:

Entry to this programme is successful completion of Assessor (SBA) Training.

This programme prepares participants to design quality assessment instruments/test items for the outcomes-based programmes and keep abreast with the BQA developments.
